New links of interest

Hello

I've put some new links that may be of interest, particularly Design Observer and Culture Critic for insight in to the design world. Take a look.

Intro to Materials & Processes

Hello,
as we are within sight of the first deadline I was wondering how many of you intended to post your submission onto this blog or preferred to present the work sheets/journal then edit the recorded versions of those?
Would you prefer to use Mooodle initially?
Let me know.

Watch it!

After talking to some of you last week about your materials and processes ideas, I thought I should make it clear that the outcome doesn't have to be functional, it can be decorative or just be-as long as it covers all the requirements.
You might find 'How to get a head in sculpture' on BBC4 tonight (28th Oct)useful.

Some new links. Taschen. Juxtapoz. Mark Ryden.

Hi
I've just added a few new links to the 'useful' links. Take a look at Juxtapz magazine which is full of street art, painting, graffiti and all sorts of great stuff. Mark Rydens paintings are sort of weird and I quite like them. Lastly take a look at the Taschen books store, they have some amazing [and some slightly rude] art, design and visual arts books for inspiration.

C2C

Hello,
I'd like you to research the area of C2C. Can you explain what it is and how it could affect your design work? Take a look at Design for Life part 1, with Phillipe Starck.
